  12. "dctv.library" is a disk-resident library providing developers a means of
  13. converting 24-bit RGB to and from DCTV display format.
  14.  
  15. There are a number of commercial and freely distributable products that
  16. use this library. Typically dctv.library is already included with
  17. commericial products that use it, but not with freely distributable
  18. software.
  19.  
  20. This file is distributed separately for two reasons:
  21.     . to provide library updates directly to end users.
  22.     . to provide the library to users of freely distributable software
  23.       that uses dctv.library.
  24.  
  25. There is also a developers kit for "dctv.library" available separately.
